Teaching and non- teaching staff on strike in Punjab University
It is 2nd Time they are on strike
Punjab University Lahore Teaching and non teaching staff went on strike second time. 1st one month earlier they went on strike demanding their demands to be fulfilled. There was a negotiation between University staff and government officials.
After assurance from government side the university officials ended their strike. But now in a caretaker set up ,non is ready to fulfill their desire and demands. This is why the university official again on strike today.
The students and parents who visited university today condemned it. They said that they reached university after covering a huge distance but here all admin offices are closed as the official are on strike.
When contacted to a university official asking about the end of strike, he said it is not confined when to end the strike.
