Punjab University Halted MA/M.Sc/ADA/ADS/ADC Annual 2023 Registration

HEC-PU Conflict on 2 years MA/M.Sc/BA/B.Sc Degree is touching the peak. HEC issued a notification which says that 2019 is the last year of BA/B.Sc 2 Years Degree Program while 30 June 2022 is deadline of MA/M.Sc 2 years degree programs. If anybody enrolls students after these dates,its degree will not be recognized by the HEC.

Punjab University started ADA/ADS/ADC/MA/M.Sc annual 2023 exams registration on 5th December 2022 and enrolled many students privately in in upcoming session 2023. On 6th January 2023 the Higher Education Commission issued a notification again as reminder that these two years degrees will not be recognized.

Now when you try to open Punjab University registration portal, there appears a message that registration 'Halted Temporarily'. The university says that it is temporary and the university will resume registration process after the conduct of ADA/ADS 2nd Annual 2022 Exams. There is a lot of burden on the university that is why they have halted registration process temporarily.

This attitude of PU and HEC leaves the students totally confused. They are worried about their future. They say that there is probability of wasting their next academic year. HEC says that university should offer ADA/ADS semester wise and they should start admitting students in BS 5th Semester in place of old MA/m.Sc degrees.
